After the end of Ramadhan a very festive and joyous holiday is celebrated by Muslims are known as Eid-UL-Fitr. The Festival of Breaking the Fast. The first thing a Muslim family is required to do is give a stipulated amount of money in charity. This special charity is called the Fitra. On the day of the Eid Muslims attend special congregational prayers in the morning wearing their nicest clothes.
