Genshin Impact’s second phase for Version 6.2 just dropped, which reintroduces Xilonen and Varesa into the spotlight. Both are incredibly strong 5-star characters with some massive damage buffs in their kits. But as with any character, they require the right Artifacts to truly shine. But which pieces are the right ones? We’ll go over the perfect Artifacts for both characters and the best method to farm for them all.
🫧 Varesa’s Best Artifacts

Varesa is a Main-DPS who focuses primarily on Plunging damage. She’s currently known as one of the best DPS members thanks to just how heavy her output is. In fact, she’s even considered part of the meta as of now. The best Artifacts for Varesa are those that increase her Plunging DPS even more. Combine that with a higher Critical Rate and you’ll hit gold. To make wishing on banners a bit easier, check our available genshin accounts for sale!
There’s still a few weaknesses that Varesa has in her kit. One of the biggest considerations you’d need to make are that she cannot cause Vaporize or Melt reactions. While this lost damage potential is relatively made up for through Plunges, it’s still something that can throw off someone’s play style. She also doesn’t have a lot of Weapons that synergize with her. Artifacts can help cover for most of this though.

🐆 Xilonen’s Best Artifacts

Now we move onto Xilonen, who is a Support character known for her amazing Elemental buffs. In particular, her kit mainly contains Skills that trigger Elemental Resistance Shred on enemies. Even without a lot of material investment, she can work as a heavy healer and buffer for her team. Combine this with her Elemental Bursts and Xilonen could potentially play as a decent Sub-DPS too.
The main weaknesses to Xilonen is that she requires two other Geo characters on the team to use her Elemental Shred buffs. Without it and she loses out on her full potential. She also can only heal a party member one at a time until she reaches her sixth Constellation. While these are more as guidelines rather than weaknesses, her power can further be boosted through Artifacts.

When off the field, Xilonen gains 1 stack every 3 seconds. Curiosity can stack up to 4 times, each providing +6% Defense and a +6% Geo damage bonus. |

🏺 How to Farm for Rare Artifacts

So now that you know which Artifacts to look for after pulling Varesa and Xilonen, here are the best methods to farm them. You can earn Artifacts from doing just about anything around the world of Genshin Impact. Artifacts can be found by opening chests, completing quests, defeating enemies, and so much more.
The best way to farm for Artifacts though is by completing Domains and opening chests. Domains are basically small dungeons that players can complete when found. Each Domain will give a selection of Artifacts as a reward and even inside the location itself. However, starting from Adventure Rank 40, you can find 5-star Artifacts in chests from then on. That is the best time to start looking for Artifacts.
